| Narayanan, a leading Thavil Artist from South born in an illustrious family of Classical Musicians of Chennai. I had my debut at the age of Ten ( 10 ). Initially i had my tutelage under Vidwam Sri Villivakkam Saravanan for 5 years. Later i had the opportunity to learn under famous Tamil Music College in Raja Annamalai Mandram, Chennai for 3 years from 1999 to 2001. |

| For the last Twelve years I had given solo Recitals in various places like Temples, Cultural Organizations, Television Chennals, All India Radio etc., but also in deserving Sabhas throughout India. Our various types of programs includes Nadaswaram, Violin, Flute, Keyboard, Thavil, Mirudangam, Gatam Kanjira, Moorsing, Tabla, Pad. I am Keen for research and innate talent for innovation in Carnatic Music. I am ambitious of popularizing the art of thavil all over the world for the generation. |
